i notice that sometimes pandora AND slacker can sound tinny (not tiny) in my car....

will changing the equilizer / audo boost options in media player affect sound?

will try after work...but wondering if anyone has tried this.

I noticed that too. It almost sounds mono to me.

I doubt equalizer settings will have any effect outside the media player. When my 8220 is closed, the mute and volume buttons are unresponsive in Pandora and Slacker. Media Player honors the buttons when closed, and even shows the album info on the outer display. That's too much to hope for from Pandora or Slacker.

I agree that Pandora sounds tinny and mono. There's no channel separation at all and no low or high end. Slacker is like surround sound by comparison. Even though Slacker eats my battery (50% in 1 hour), heats up the phone and the song selection AI isn't as good, I'll take Slacker just for its sound quality.
