    Hi All,

    I am a new blackberry user.

    All of my third party apps unable to retrieve data via 3G network.
    example:
    -QuickWeather
    -Player for youtube

    Those apps used to work for the first day after I downloaded it.
    After that it stopped working(unable to update the data via 3G) (if I connect to wifi, there is no problem)

    I did sign up for BIS service as well as the data plan.
    My facebook app, browser and other apps that come with the blackberry are working fine w/o any issues.

    Actions that have been taken,
    - uninstall and reinstall the app
    - battery pull
    - set all as " allow' for the permission in the application management
    - resending service books and re-registering on the network



    Can anyone please help ?

    Sounds to me like it could be a carrier problem. Are you showing the Blackberry symbol at the top of your home screen?

    Have you tried resending service books and re-registering on the network?

    whenever I clicked on the third party apps, the blackberry symbol just went off.
    that is really weird ! my emails, BBM and every default apps working just fine except third party apps !

    is there anything else I can try ?
