You can set filters in the BB memopad.

In my main memopad screen: BB Button > Filters

In the specific memo: BB button > Categories

LOL...I have not looked for one, but have you tried going into the market and searching for memo? I know there are a ton of apps out there and many more created daily. Us androids may not have an app for everything, but it is getting there.

Wondering if anyone has found any good apps they really like for a memo pad on the droid.
A friend of mine went from a BB Pearl to an HTC Eris, he really liked and used his memo pad a lot on his BB.
I'm supposedly better at researching this stuff so here I am asking.
I noticed he had something on his phone that came loaded on it called Quick Office, but it doesn't seem to be a memo pad.
    So... any suggestions?

I use AK Notepad. Make a memo with whatever you want as your category on the first line of your memo. Then close it out and you can add things to your memo later, but only the first line shows up when you open the app. So I make separate lists like shopping lists to different stores with the store name on the top line of the memo. No matter how many items I add or remove later, the memo always appears with only the store name as a memo in the AK Notepad initial view.

    I use a couple.

I use 3banana for generally note taking.

I use Astrid To Do for tasks, lists, etc. You can make tags for these and categorize them.

Action Pad works extremely well. You can set categories and it also allows you to password protect any memo you choose. Available both on Crackberry app store and BB app world.
