I don't even know how to begin to search for this problem so I'm sorry if I'm repeating something but here goes...
I had to delete my fb app because I wasn't getting any notifications, which is apparently a very common problem, so when I went to reinstall it the download stopped completely for like five mins. I eventually canceled the download and closed the app world. When I went in to try again it was not in my installed apps, nor was it in my ininstalled apps. I did a search for Facebook and found it but there is no option to download. I also looked in applications management and it is not there. I tried a battery pull with no results from that either :-) someone please help me figure this out!? TIA!

In options type app, select the bottom thing that comes up and make sure FB isn't in that list.
If it is, delete it, bat pull, and check again.
