I deleted the beta app, did the app world cache clean, did several battery pulls and nothing. Facebook 2.0 is listed in my myworld on app world and in my list of apps on my 9780 but no icon. I'm frustrated don't whatelse to do anyone have any ideas I can try???

Try reinstalling maybe? Works fine on my 9700.

Menu > Show All. If it's hidden, you'll see it greyed out. Check in all possible folders. If not, have it removed via BBSAK. Just remember what it depends on and remove them too, then it should work after reinstalling it. PS. It is possible to have multiple copies of the same app installed, which is a glitch. i=It happened to app world 5 times.

By default the FB icon is stored in the folder called "social networking" make sure to check there before going crazy...

(Make sure the social networking folder is not hidden otherwise you wont be able to find it)
