I want to place a check mark in the box so that I can select the option to link my BlackBerry Contacts application to the Facebook application.
But I do not know how to place the check mark in the box.
If I click the trackball it does not work (it pops up a menu), and I cannot find any other way to make it select.
Is this option not available/supported for the Pearl?
Help?
just highlight the box and press the track ball and you should put a check mark in the box

Are you on a BES? I am on BES and my IT policy blocks that function. I guess they want to protect the integrity of my "work" contacts information.

Yep there probably is a block on the application from modifing your address book if its bes if its not I'm not too sure why it simply won't let you check off the box
