Here is my question. I have an 8gb memory card installed. after I installed it, it said it had 7.4gb of free space.
last night I downloaded a bunch of ota apps (vlingo, opera mini, etc. and a couple more)
how do I know where these apps are downloading to? I checked my media card memory just now and its still showing 7.4gb of free space. Am I correct to assume these apps are saving to my device memory rather than my media card?
when I downloaded the apps I never got a prompt on where to save it. my settings for my media card are as follows:
Media Card Support: ON
Encryption mode: NONE
Mass Storage Support Mode: ON
Auto Enable Mass Storage Mode When Connected: YES
16,6**and some change songs or about 12 hours of movies. or you could get the 16gb card. then WOOHOO lots more. :-P yeah vndlewis got a good link for ya. pkcable has a decent amount of knowledge on BB's too.

The only setting I'd change is possibly the Auto Enable... If you are charging via USB and wanted to listen to music through your BB you wouldn't be able. Then again I guess you go listen to them via your computer at that point.
