I tried the software forum with a search, no luck. Anybody heard of a simple app that allows me to check things that I'll need at the food store next time I go there so I can just open it and not forget the olive oil next time I refuse to call my wife and ask what else we need lol. If you do find one, I would also like to know about it - I do admit that I haven't really looked for one. What I do now is use the Memopad App and just create a new memo for all the items I need to get at the store.

I use MaraTick. It is really easy and has a lot of great features. The official site has been down for a while, but you can get it here.

A correction...

The official OTA site is down, but the official site is up. You can get a more updated version of the app from MaraTick, but you will have to download the desktop version.

BTW...it is freeware. You could also use the task list built into the BB.

If only Listpro from Illumisoft would come to the BB platform...its a great app that I used on wm.......
You could buy their desktop component and then export as an excel doc.

For instance as a photographer, I like having a shot list in my phone for weddings and checking off the shots as I go along....is this possible for maratick or is it just a grocery app? (nevermind)

I use SplashShopper with my iPod Touch, but there is a BlackBerry version. What i like about it, is that there is also a desktop version that will sync with my iPod, so i don't have to enter all the info on a handheld device for those big shopping trips. Don't know how it works for the BB though.

If you type in: shampoo Head and Shoulders, next time you hit "s" that will come up along with other grocery items that start with S. Or you can just type in Head and Shoulders and it comes up when you type H. Nice.

the ota links for Maratick didn't work for me. It starts to download, but halfway, it aborts and says that download fails cos i'm unable to open a .zip file?? and i clicked on the ota link in my bb browser.

I just use docs to go. I have a spreadsheet saved that I used to use on my old phone. There's a formula that has my tax included so I can put the price of the items in and know how much my groceries will cost before I even get to the register. That way if I go over my grocery budget I'll know BEFORE I'm at the register and can go ahead and put something back.
