First off, I want to wish a very happy new year to the CrackBerry family!

Secondly, are there any applications that I could download to my Berry (Pearl 8120) that could help me better manage my time? I'm thinking maybe something that could help me keep track of my assignments, give me alerts, you know, stuff like that lol.

There are a few things but nothing that you can get for free. Just use the BB calender and task functions. Dont pay for anything.

Maybe a vlingo-like app. can be used to make a transcript of lectures? That would save you a lot of time in reading and writing, if it worked

Well what I would do is.

Room numbers and Teachers/Class names I store them in the the Contacts

Days and Class schedlues I'd put in the Calendar

Papers due or assignments I'd put in the Tasks

For taking notess I'd use Memo and Voice Memos or free bbnotepad

Use the alarm to get up

Internet browser to research papers

Keep papers and docs on the program doc2go keep it on the sd card

Use it as a MP3 player

Camera at frat partys

As a recent college grad I would say get Viigo and sub to the Calvin and Hobbes daily feed, awesome "party" fodder

I definitely leave myspace and facebook alone while in class ... especially since facebook doesn't let me do messenger yet ... hopefully I've graduated for education sake before it comes out lol.
