I curently use WeatherEye, which I love, but am about to embark on an extended road trip. Is there a weather app, preferably free, that can update my location based on my GPS? It's a real pain having to enter a new location several times a day. TIA.

You should try BerryWeather. It's not free, but it's worth every penny. $9.99 is the asking price.

BlackStar has a feature to get your weather based on your current position. It formats a URL with your gps coordinates and opens the browser to display a web page with your current weather. It is free.

Now that radar and GPS have been added to BerryWeather, I don't think you'll find anything better out there. Such a slick, well-polished program!
