Got my invite and of course, signed up for it, but not sure how I can use this? I am very tech challenged, any help, advice on how to use it? I have played around on the google site, but as I mentioned, am somewhat challenged with these type of things

Also, NOBODY has invites to send out except Google.

Google's GV app is pretty cool. Much cleaner looking then GVDialer. One problem I see is you cant call out from your GV number unless you call out from the address book. So if you get a call on your phone they have to be in your address book to return the call from GV?

i will say GV Dialer stays for a while. There are some annoying features in the app.

When i call a contact through GV app in the phone log i see an access number instead of the number i call... from the phone history you can not select "Call using Google Voice". in the dialer you can not start entering a name...

I'm hoping to use Google Voice for free SMS. I have virtually no SMS plan with my carrier.

Both apps seem to give me the ability to use SMS solely over my data plan but do not give a notification that an SMS has arrived.

I'm stuck checking the app from time to time to check manually.
