    Hi everyone,

    Regarding the "alert me" feature in the google talk app (which notifies you when a contact comes online), does anyone know if the contact, for whom the alert has been set, receives any notification about the alert? Or is the alert internal to the blackberry?

    it's only on your end. like on your computer, when someone logs on (to aim, for example,) that person doesn't know who is notified...
