I wanted to know what the best way of replacing my Gmail Contacts with BlackBerry Contacts is. I've done it before and got all sorts of duplicate entries. Would it be best if I deleted my gmail contacts first than ran google sync? I figure it would move my blackberry contacts over but I'm not sure as it seems to sync primarily with gmail.

Not sure exactly what it is you are trying to do here... but you can always use DM to backup your data first... then try something and always go back to what you had saved... give it a try.
be more clear on what you are trying to do... you don't want to use gmail at all for contacts? or just replace your gmail contacts with some blackberry contacts, to make them your new gmail contacts? explain dude...
ps - use google sync app if you don't have it... maybe it will do what you want - which as stated, is super unclear at the moment...
having the same sort of issue..I want to replace gmail contacts with outlook contacts..tried to delete the entire email account from the bb all together..but under address book - options.the gmail contact list still appears..any suggestions??
