    Ever since I installed the 5.0 OS for my verizon tour google sync says "Last Sync failed, please try again later. If the problem persists try signing out of sync and signing in again." I already tried that, no luck...

    any ideas?

    Did you do the OTA upgrade or did you upgrade via DM. I know that the OTA was MR2 and the DM version is MR2.5 and I believe has a fix for the Google sync.

    It works on mine. Try wiping the phone and install MR2 fresh.

    After you install the new OS, you have to first go to options and reset what you want to sync like your contacts or/and calendar

    1. go to google sync and Log In. (upgrading wipes out your sign in)

    2. Sign back out. this will actually wipe your calendar.

    3. Then resign in and do a sync.

    deleted google sync, installed google sync, and now it works woohoo
