I can't seem to get Google Sync to work no matter what I try. I log in fine. Then when I go to Sync Now it says:
Updating Calendar List
Connecting to Google
then
Downloading Calendar
Default Calendar
then the progress bar goes all the way and I get an error saying
Sync failed
Server problem. Please try again later.
anybody???
Suddenly I get the following error when I try to do a google sync between my at&t 8310 curve and my google calendar
Sync failed
Please try again later, if the problem persists try signing out of sync and signing in again.
so far I've
signed in and out
deleted google syn and reinstalled it
wiped out my calendar (after a backup)
and still I get this message- any help would be appreciated

Weird. Mine just synced. Check the google page, I think they have a new version og Google sync.
i just downloaded mine on wednesday. is it a new one already?
I have the same issue, been trying for 3 days - same error still today.
Sorry to necro-post but I was searching for posts about my problem and this one cropped up--although it appears the OP's issue was never resolved?
In sum, I have the exact symptoms described by the OP. I downloaded Google Sync this morning and it's not working.
One possible issue was I didn't have the Google Calendar widget installed in my iGoogle (assumed it was there by default) so I installed the widget, logged out with Google Sync and logged back in. Same result. Is this a problem at Google's end or is there something special I need to do to get the sync working?
