google maps issue

I have a Storm2 (9550) and recently noticed an issue with my google maps app. I am having trouble searching addresses. Then when I press the blackberry button to pull a menu up, the back button does nothing. I am unable to go back a screen or get the menu to close. I have to back out of the application but am unable to close it. This is happening in the new updated google maps as well as the last version. is anyone else having this problem or does anyone know how to solve it?? Thanks.

I'm running the new version 4.0.1. I noticed the problem last week in the old version and immediately updated when the updated google maps was posted and i still have the same issue.
