I know there have been other threads about this but I couldn't seem to find the right one with the answers.

I just switched from the Tour to the Bold, and DLed the Google Mobile App fine, but when I try to DL the "Gmail" and "Maps" apps that are on there, it keeps saying "Uncaught exception:net.rim.device.api.system.controlledAcce ss Exception"

What the heck does this mean? I love these apps and want them on this phone!

I'm no tech but did you try a battery pull? This often solves a multitude of BB ailments.

    Def tried battery pull.

According to the appstore here, Maps isn't even compatible with the Bold 9650. Hm...
