Earlier it was not updating locations, so I reset the app and typed username/password and now it keeps saying joining (trying to log) but nothing happens. It was working this am until 7am or so.

you need to select the (Layer) then go in and select latitude.

Jay24, what do you mean by that? The "Layer" only turns on the Latitude info but I can't "join" in the first place.

YZF, what did you mean by not updating locations? Like your friends would stay at 4 hours ago or something when they were actually updating? or the X mins ago was frozen? Any luck signing in or anything special about your setup?

Works now... Didn't do anything. THey must have had an issue on their end.

On my 8220 I have the new 3.2 and it does not automatically update its location. On my other BB on the latitude list it shows that the location of the 8220 was not updated for 2 days. I tried a battery pull but it did not help. If you press "0" it updates its new location on latitude but then when it is running in the background it does not.

I will try to use the built-in "Reset" feature next.

Since the upgrade to 3.2, I think that latitude is not updating locations as frequentlyat with prior versions. This makes it less useful.

Is there any way to force an update?

Doesn't work for me either: 9000/5.0.0.314, won't log in...
