Anyone else think 3.2.1 sucks on the phone? Its slow, overshoots my finger navigation all the time, when you relocate yourself it zooms out, its harder to get to recent searches, and a bunch of other little things that pre 3.2 gave me on my S1 on release date.

Any news on a gmaps update for the storm2? how often do they release those?

I asked this same question I few days ago. Didn't get much of a response to see if they are coming out with a new one, but we all agreed that it was not made for the storm or storm2 and needs a drastic update.

I've not had any problems. Granted I use it for simply searching and more for Latitude functionality. I prefer BB Maps for navigation. Of course it sucks as well since it takes longer than google to lock in GPS, and to load the map itself.

Its always been lackluster. Runs slow as ****, and the spinning clock every 10 seconds when doing anything, drives me nuts.

It IS pretty slow. I mean, I almost never use Google Maps, BB Maps does the job just fine. I actually like it better because while driving you can have the "Track" point up always.

No problems here. I was actually surprised they incorporated street view tbh. No doubt I would prefer if it was quicker and smoother.

If you guys are referring to the default "maps" app, then I've had no problems at all. It seems to work just fine and I'm pretty satisfied with it.

I live on Lake Conroe in Texas. GM 3.2.1 can tell what part of the house I'm in. If I go outside and stand in the middle of my street, my little blue dot goes to the middle of the street. If I walk down to the lake's edge, the little blue dot is right at the water's edge too ! A lot depends on the state of the database where you are. It is not a Military app. Doctor Neutron
