hey im very new to this just bought my bb yesterday and just starting to get the hang of it ... i have verizon curve 8330 but i didnt add the navigation option... can i still use google maps without being charged?

Google Maps requires a data connection which I highly recommend. It's worth the extra money for all of the free apps, games, and the internet/email functions. Either way you might find some of the links below helpful to learning about your new phone, good luck!

The GPS does not work on the 8330 on Verizon in google maps, it's cell tower triangulation only. The GPS only works within VZ Navigator and BB Maps.

He has a data plan, you are required to have one with Verizon.
