    If your phone doesn't have a GPS antenna, Google Maps will identify your location as the location of the phone tower your phone is under.

    I thought my phone had GPS? BB curve 8330. And if not, we have USCellular tower less then one mile from my home. Why wouldn't it pick it up from that one?

    try refreshing your gps location, that works for me usually.
