    Here we go again.
I have the same problem for many days now with gmaps like i had in summer. After logging in for 1-3 seconds it logs out again by itself.
I really need my stared places.

I can save a location (star) on my 9930's googlemaps. I couldn't sign in if I wanted to, so that's saving stars without signing in.

And it looks like saved locations are really saved. After months (since we've been unable to log in), locations that I've saved on my phone -- without logging in -- are still saved.

Maybe my next step is to take an afternoon, sit in front of my computer with my 9930, log into googlemaps with my computer, and re-save all my account-stars into my phone. If I can save my locations into my phone without having to log in, I guess that's not so bad.

But, Latitude is dead. Long live Latitude.

Unfortunately I don't think Google cares enough to maintain this legacy app :-(
