Hello, I know there a lot of old post about latitude log in problems. But my problem started yesterday/Friday 03/08/13.
I have a bold 9700 on T-Mobile. (Correction not that it matters...In this original post I said I had the 9700...Actually I have the 9900. And since the problem is happening on different BB models and cell providers) And maps version 4.5.3. it has worked fine for ever
Some how Friday morning I go signed out. Now when I try to sign back in or join latitude.
It will sign in and then turn right around and sign out. It has been doing this all day long.
Yes I hard rebooted the phone and a battery and Sims card pull. I know the account sign in /log on is still good because I can log into
it on a PC. Latitude had been running fine up until yesterday when I got signed out. So I don't know if it is a T-Mobile problem
or a latitude problem or a Google problem or a phone problem or a BlackBerry server problem? Google Maps is still tracking me fine.
    Any Ideas?
    Thanks...Joel

I have a BB 9790 with OS 7.1 (Vodacom) South Africa. Since yesterday I cant sign into my google latitude. I did everything from battery pull, deleted and reinstalled google maps, generated application specific passwords ... but nothing worked. When I try to join lattitude it keeps telling me you signed out of your google account.

Im struggling to stay signed into Google account on my pc's as well ... where is the problem? Google or Blackberry?? It seems to me it is a worldwide problem since yesterday!

I think we are all having the same issues with this latitude sign in through Blackberry... it was happened since March 8 2013... I don't know why. It should be arrised it to Google team especially for Google maps or Google latitude team to have their explanation. I'm using Google Maps latitude version 4.5.3 too..

They confirmed a problem with Google Maps. They said it is expected to be fixed but I wasn't given a time estimate.

    Found a workaround....
    1) deinstall v4.5.3.
