The Bold comes with Docs To Go that handles word and excel files. It even has a powerpoint viewer. Do you need something more than that?

The default is useless if you dont buy it. This is my point. I do not want to pay 30 dollars for the program.
If your default is different than mine I would like to know.
Mine is not a program were you can write something in it. You can edit yes... but now create. Its the create part I need

+1 on Docs To Go. The free version works fine man. I've edited documents with it.
    Same here, works very well.

Email yourself a doc file. Edit it so it is blank. You can call it blank or template. Then you can start documents from scratch and save them.

Also, Google Docs for blackberry is not very good. I think you can read and save documents. I don't believe you can edit or upload files. The interface isn't that great for a Google product either.

Just put a blank document (an excel and a word) and when you need to start a new doc, open that one up and rename it.

I agree. Email yourself a plain doc as your template.
