    Anyone else have any trouble installing the Google Apps on their 8830. Mine is a Verizon 8830 with the Sprint OS 4.5 install.

    But when I try to download anything from Google it seems to just hang up. Any tricks or advice?

    Got Google Maps to download by itself. Just would not come down with the whole package that includes Gmail and Google Reader.

    Can I delete Blackberry Maps after I get Google Maps working?

    You can delete BBMaps, but Google Maps will not work with the 8830 GPS.

    Just downloaded Google Maps, and I couldn't get it to install properly. The permissions wouldn't "set" properly, thus preventing Google Maps from launching.

    Any remedy for this?
