Another google... Text the Name and zipcode/city state to 466453 (google) and they will text the listing back to you. Try it. I love it.

Tried goog 411 and jott and both seem to be blocked by sprint .... I never receive the text? Any suggestions?

I dial 1800goog411 search for business and then request a text message. Google 411 says message sent but never get it. Samething with Jott .. call the Jott phone number dictate voice to text message, Jott states sent but never receive (sent to wife's phone never receive)? Called Sprint and they are saying nothing is blocked.


EDIT: Called Sprint again and different rep said short codes were blocked on my account. Thanks for letting me know Sprint should work.

Yes they unblocked it. I use both 1-800-Goog411 and short number (466453) text message. Both are great. Thanks for your help!

Oh and when I called Sprint they offered me $70 ($280) visa debit card for each phone if I extend my contract(s) (4 phones) another 2 years. I just renewed contracts a month ago and CSR said still eligible. So new contract ends 2/2/2010 instead of 12/28/2009. Check it out if just into contract

I've been using this for a while and a few weeks ago is just stopped working... I can send the text message to Google but lately I haven't been able to get a response... has this happened to anyone else?
