So at some point I deleted bb maps. Now I need it. So I find the download link online and follow all the instructions to reload the app while connected to my computer. The bb even reboots itself when finished. Computer Screen says successful. However, I cannot find the app on my phone. I have looked everywhere. Downloaded agian. Same problem. Downloaded over the network straight to my phone. Same problem. Now what!

Is it in the list of installed apps? Options> Applications

If so, then from the homescreen, Hit menu button and select "show all" go into all your folders and screens looking for it. It really could be anywhere.

Back up your date, Wipe and reinstal the OS. Here is a good chance to upgrade to a Hybred or a higher leaked os too.

That's because you don't have the Service Books, load the right SB that contains BB maps, and you'll get again the icon.
