GMail App Error Message: "This program requires a working data connection. Please check your signal strength."

Observations
==========
* Have been able in the past to receive \ send gmail
* Signal Strenth is 5 of 5 bars
* Tried gmail refresh with Wifi on \ off
* Wifi \ Boost data working native browser
* Forum search of Gmail in title did not show this problem

Any suggestions that would overcome this error would be highly appreciated. Thank you.

I don't know why it happens, but when it does a battery pull takes care of it.

Yea, I get the same message as well from time to time. Have not tried the battery pull though..............

I tried a battery pull with no results. Also tried registering the Host Routing table.

Finally, I deleted and reinstalled the gmail app: this seemed to work. I feel like I am using a sledgehammer to swat a fly. Hopefully someone has a better solution.

It use to happen to me a lot as well. Full strength etc.

I just wait it out and it always resolves itself. I know it is not the answer you are looking for but

Same here. Been more with Boost 8350i's. Battery pull or soft reset alt+right shift
+del. Good ole 3 finger salute.
