Just got the email. Flycast is now available.

    Hello from FlyCast,
The preview version of FlyCast for Blackberry is ready for you to download from our website.

This preview version of FlyCast for BlackBerry works on BlackBerry Bold phones with OS version 4.6, on BlackBerry Curve phones with OS 4.5, and BlackBerry Storm phones with OS 4.7. If you need to upgrade your phone's OS, please do so before installing and using the FlyCast application.

To install FlyCast, view this email on your Blackberry and click on this link:

    http://www.flycast.fm/blackberry/download/flycast.jad

When the installation dialog comes up, click "Set Application Permissions" and then click "Download". On the configuration screen, change the "Connections" and "Interactions" settings from "Custom" to "Allow". Press "Back" and then "Save"
The application will download and install.
If you have a Bold - Run "FlyCast" from the Downloads folder

If you have a Curve - Run "FlyCast" from the general "Ribbon"

FlyCast has set up a support site for iPhone and BlackBerry users. Please visit FlyCast Forums • Index page for tips on getting the most from FlyCast on your BlackBerry.

    Thanks for your patience. Enjoy!

Flycast doesn't like the blackberry firewall.

All permissions set to Allow still had to turn it off

Once I get registered (from handheld) I get invalid user ID

And all I found on the forum are two other people having the same problem.

Hello everyone, this is my first post. Exciting for everyone, I know.

I was having this problem too on my Curve. I just went back to the site and re-downloaded the app, this time setting every single permission to allow. It asked me if I wanted to replace the app and I accepted. When it was done downloading, my BB told me it wanted to reboot this time. I let it do what it wanted and, oh joy, flycast worked when I started back up. Now I am happy.

    I hope this helps.

Apps is nice when it works.

Tried reinstalling and also verifying the permissions.
Running the latest 4.5 OS on a 8330 curve on VZW.

will stream music for about 10-15 seconds then it will be silent for 10-15 seconds.

Posted this on their forums also.

It installed perfectly on my 8320 but not having WiFi at work (boo) I was unable to get more than 3-4 seconds of choppy music at a time. I will have to give it a go at home tonight on the WiFi.
