Just tried that, I entered my gmail account and it gives me an invalid request message. Isn't linked to your gmail account?

If you're seeing an 'Invalid request' page when trying to sign in to Google Voice, this could be caused by one of two reasons:
You're currently a GrandCentral user but don't yet have the instructions in your GrandCentral inbox to upgrade to Google Voice. Until you see the instructions on upgrading in your GrandCentral inbox, you won't be able to sign in to Google Voice. We're rolling out this upgrade option to all GrandCentral users over time and appreciate your patience.
You're currently not a GrandCentral user and won't be able to sign up for Google Voice yet. In the meantime, you can leave us your email address and we'll notify you as soon as Google Voice becomes available.

you cant send out invities.. you have to go request one go here.. https://services.google.com/fb/forms/googlevoiceinvite/ i waited about a month or so for mine its really an amazing service especially since you have a blackberry with the app to make it all easier and better
