If you're looking for a flashlight app, Flash On (or FlashOn) is one that works too, pretty lightweight and free.

Thanks, will check it out. I have one already (the Flashlight option in ShortCutMe) but what intrigued me about the OP's app was the claim to be able to bypass the video camera.

Flash On does both--runs without going through the video camera, and can run for however long you want it to.
