I was running this on my tour since .591 was released and my battery drain and memory loss has been bananas. I just deleted the app and now I am going to reinstall .591 one more time and see if that helps. If not, it is back to .484 for me. Does anyone know anything about Foursquare and a battery drain issue?

I have .484 and I noticed it killed my battery so I always close the program when I am done. I think the blackberry app is only in beta so they might not have it optimized yet.

Well, I reinstalled .591 after deleting Foursquare, and the battery drain and memory leak have GREATLY improved.

I also close down foursquare when I'm done using it.

In all honestly you probably have it set to update every 15 minutes or something. Set it to an hour and close it when your done. Those things should help

Its not a twitter client kylecore so it'll not have those settings, it uses gps location.

On my 9700 running .442 I see no battery drain, try a updated OS

I can't even log in to Foursquare even after chaning the 'permissions' to 'allow'

Currently using Blackberry 9000 OS.5.0 and my Foursquare is ver 1.7.0

Anyone having the same problem? What went wrong??
