I noticed this today trying to download it - weird huh? The site says it's free, but it's $2.99 in app world and that's what their site links to. The iPhone one and Android ones are still free... not trying to rant, just kinda disapointed
Anyone know if this is a temporary thing? I emailed them, hopefully they'll get back to me.

Now, I'm not affiliated with FML at all...however one would assume this:

They wanted to appear to the mass market inside of the app world, the download used to just be a OTA link from their website - so they added it to the app world, and had to charge the minimum $2.99 to recoup costs of adding it to app world...and to make a couple bucks

So no, it's not a mistake. And yes, it sucks.

Ah yeah, I forgot how expensive it is to put anything on App World. Oh well.

Yeah. It sucks. The app also sucks IMO. Just a waste of space.

I just follow them on Twitter from different accounts for their feed. What can't be totally viewed, they link to a Bit.ly account. Same posts from the app. No hassles.

Yeah, FML just emailed me back, they pretty much just said yup, blackberry one's not free anymore.

Honestly, I found that the app wasn't working too well anyway. It wasn't loading all the posts, just up to a certain point. So I got used to viewing the mobile site on my browser, and it's been fine. I just bookmarked it.

But it does suck that they're charging, especially when the TFLN app is still free. I happen to really like that one.

Ya. That app was completely worthless. They should be the ones paying us $2.99 to use that thing.

There's also an old app, FML 0.6.0, that was made by someone else and was free - it's been discontinued, but there's still some copies floating around the web. I just downloaded that.
