There isn't anything built in, but a free app that I use is Mobile File Mananger.

I'm sure that there are others out there as well!

Media - BB button - explore. This is a basic built in file manager/explorer.
I use BBFileScout which is a great free file manager and much better than the onbaord one...

You can go into Media, press the berry key and choose "explore". Not quite as good as real file manager though, as there are no search capabilities.
