I think RIM should've probably focused their manpower on their existing Facebook and MySpace apps instead of making the Twitter app. It's a welcome addition, but they need to improve what's already out there too.
The current 1.7 is growing stale. We need a stability/speed update. Maybe a new version that supports any new APIs (Recent/Top news?) that Facebook has gotten recently. And surely there's something they could do about optimizing the net code, I still get "connection to server cannot be established" errors when I try to respond to posts every now and then.
