Pictures I upload from my Tour look like absolute crap when looking at them on a PC. They look grainy and just plain bad. Does anyone know if it's an issue with the FB app or within the camera settings?

It happens with all bb devices using facebook to mobile upload. Honestly I just plug my phone in and upload to facebook if I want the better quality pics
Its both, your tour is not a 12mp dslr camera, so pictures are going to be on the low end to begin with, then they are compressed on upload. Good for uploading random pictures on the fly, but don't expect studio quality.

Thanks for the replies, but I think you missed the point, as a 3.2 megapixel camera won't turn out obnoxiously grainy shots. These look just plain awful on FB, but fine otherwise when transferred to PC, which is why I suspected it was the FB app.
It seems that since the last 2 versions of FB that came out the photo uploads went to ****. It used to upload great pics. I have friends who upload from their iphones and they look great. BB always get the short end of the stick.
Yeah, I'm quite jealous of the iPhone users now. My cousin has one, and his uploaded pics look muuuch better than mine. My pride hurts.
I sent a complaint about it, and I'd recommend others to do the same. Hopefully they fix this problem in the next version.

I'm pretty sure it's the Facebook app that's compressing the pictures and the app is made by RIM, so I'm betting your complaint will not get you far.
One thing to consider is e-mailing your pictures in to Facebook instead of uploading through the app. There are some downsides, you can't tag photos, you can pick an album, etc., but I think the pictures do look better when sent in this way.
Facebook wouldn't have a support page for the app if they didn't want feedback. I gave them feedback using their form that they provided specifically for the app. I'm sure they work with RIM on the software, so having one of the parties aware of the situation may be enough to get this fixed in the next update.
And I think I might need to start emailing them, even if it isn't as ideal.
