Hi all – I’m new (obviously). As a disclaimer, I searched for an answer to this question before posting, and came across similar topics, but nothing that actually addresses my problem.

I have the Facebook and Twitterberry apps installed on my Tour. I want the icon to appear on my screen when I have a new message or update from these apps, but DO NOT want my phone to vibrate or ring. Currently, my options are set to:
Sounds > Ring Tones/Alerts > Other > Facebook / Twitterberry
Volume: Silent
LED: Off
Vibration: OFF
Notify Me During Class: No

And yet the phone is still vibrating when I receive a new message.

Help? Please?
