I just installed the BB Facebook app. When I clicked on the Facebook icon to try it out, I got the message "You are attempting to open a secure connection, but the server's certificate is not trusted."
Upon viewing the certificate, it says it is *Untrusted Cert Chain and *Stale Chain Status. The Revocation Status is unknown, the Trust Status is Not Trusted, the Expiration Date is August 7, 2009
There is a whole bunch more stuff that makes no sense to me.
Can anyone explain this to me and is it ok to open the app or not?
I just read earlier on CB that it is highly unlikely for a BB to get a virus...I received a weird text from a distant friend today and was suspicious!!!
It said the same thing when i first downloaded it too. it still says it sometimes if i completely shutdown facebook on my BB. Its not a virus and doesnt hurt the BB but unfortunately i dont know the technical terms to explain to you why its "ok"
