Just loaded the facebook app to my bold and am receiving notifications from it on my email. is there anyway i can set the app to send the notifications only to my facebook app and not to my linked email? Or is the facebook app notifications the same as my email. Kinda confusing but any help would be great.

In the options of the app, uncheck the box for "Leave email notification messages on mail server".
Basically the application picks up the email as it is delivered to your BB and displays it as a notification in the application instead of a new email message. That's the reason you have to have your Facebook email set up on your BB.
