My FB icon is getting the red notification symbol, but there's no notification appearing in my notification bar on the homescreen.

I have "Blackberry Messages application" toggled on in the FB app's options.


Am I missing something?

I've been getting the same thing for a few weeks now... I believe it is a Facebook app error. There is a lag with my notifications. I just uploaded the Beta from BB Beta Zone and the same issue still happens.

Are they back on for you? I had the same problem the last seberal days, but I just started getting them back today. Didn't do anything special.

Same issue here. Also not getting FB Messages. Lots of problems lately. I tried uninstalling and re-installing app, but no change.

In addition to my earlier post... I also had this issue on my 9550 prior to getting 9930 about a month ago. So I'm pretty sure this isn't limited to OS7. It's gotta be a FB app error.

Im getting the same thing:

Message light blinks
No FB notification on the Notification Bar
Started after 7.1 upgrade
Uninstall/reinstall hasnt helped.

Also my twitter notifications are not counted in the notification bars!

I dunno I don't think its just the bold its the Facebook app for blackberry is pretty bad I never seem to get notifications when I receive an inbox.. I always have to check or go on the browser Facebook then it would show that I got a new notification
