For the last two days I've been getting notifications for certain status comments but when I go to read them on my S2 it says "unable to retrieve at this time. Please try again later". It's not on all comments either, it's weird. Any ideas anyone?

It better be on their end....I'm only noticing it when people comment on my status mainly. This wouldn't be the first time I had Facebook issues though. Hope it gets dealt with soon...it annoys me.

I noticed it mainly with iphone users. Like this gurl wrote on my wall and I didn't even get a notification of it.

Happens a lot... it is a FB issue, I have friends on different carriers and different phones that have the same issues.

I have the lastest FB, and i dont have that problem.. Maybe try getting the latest if you dont have it?

I started noticing this problem as well on my Storm1. Most likely its a problem with facebook. Hopefully the will fix it soon.

I dont think so. that is the version I have too.

Maybe it is just FB, or your network connection. I use mine on wifi a lot, and I never get problems like that.

Mines giving me that error right now. I was never a fan of it and just used the browser but it's a lot quicker to use than going into the browser due to how unbearably slow it is.

This happens to me every once and awhile too. It usually resolves on its own. Its most like a problem with the fb app.

I've come up with a workaround for this: login to FB from my computer and check my status updates Seriously though, FB is famous for network problems. I'm sure it'll resolve soon enough.
