Anyone using Facebook with this device? I'm getting my texts fine now since updating to the new software, but I am not getting the confimation code to activate my mobile account from Facebook. Thanks in advance for any help or advice.

How long did it take, if you don't mind me asking? Just wondering if it is a Facebook issue, yet when I put in my phone number it says confirmation code sent. Thanks.

My confirmatoin code came almost almost right away. hate to ask the age old question what OS you have running?

No. You need to download it. Go to:

on your blackberry

Yeah, my code came almost instantly. I use facebook for Blackberry all the time...

Another question, does it need to be downloaded to get a confirmation code? I do not have a FB icon on my phone to download, only AIM, Talk and Yahoo. Thanks.

Yeah having it installed might help things along. Try it is all I can say. I downloaded and installed and confirmed all in one shot since I was new to facebook

Thanks Roland for the help. Had to download it from the phone, put in my info. and presto. Seems they would suggest that on their site??

Next question, is there a way to move the icon from the download folder??

Yep not a problem! that's an easy one

go to your download folder open it and find facebook

press the blackberry key(the button to the left of your trackball)

select move to folder

select home

and bongo bango it should be on the main menu screen

at least it should be if i got it right......
