I remember a while back (2+years?) When my fb app would automatically identify contacts on my phone and connect it to their fb profile. It would also update their pictures when ever they updated their profile pictures.

I have the option checked on my fb app, but for as long as I can remember in the past 2 years, it has not worked.

I have to manually go into each contact on fb and press "connect to bb contact". It will connect then, but it still won't update their picture if they update their default picture in a future time.

Does this feature work for anyone else?

It usually does if you have the name and email match (both FB and local contact with same info).

Some times just the mail is enough.

But that's the parameter it uses, mostly.

Yes, both first and last names match. I remember in the past, never had to have an email address in there. Even when I manually connect them, the pictures don't update as people change their profile picture. Does this feature work for anyone?
