For noe.. If you want a free chat program, check out ebuddy. It is a little buggy on the storm, but it gets the job done, and its FREE!!

I heard that on Facebook 2.0 for blackberry, a chat option will be available.

for now we are stuck with 1.6 or something.

So hopefully the upgrade will be out soon! seems promising!

Yes it does. You need to download the Beta version. Look in the forums under support/blackberry. It's in the top stickied thread. Just install that and click use trial license. This version of the Beta is just as stable as release stuff. I've used it now for nearly 2 months with no bugs or issues. Both on the Curve and on my Storm.

I'm running the latest beta of BeejiveIM on my Curve 8900 (OS Version: 5.0.0.100) without issue. It`s not slow in the least for FB or any of the other messengers for that matter. I`m also using the Start Me Up app to auto-load it when my BB starts up.

Storm .148 no issues with slowness or glitches at all with the latest Storm Beta. Infact I'm suprised it's still in Beta.. Though 2.0 is coming out for all BB's. Was supposed to be last month.. So hopefully this month.
