True ... The Facebook App featuring chat came out approx. 1 year after the release of the iPhone, so any reasonable person should expect to wait for approx. that long for a similar app on the Storm.
im a blackberry fan, but IMO just because you bought a blackberry doesnt mean you cant compare it to the iphone.
the storm and the iphone are basically the only two phones in its market, youd be a fool not to compare them. just bear in mind that the iphone has had much more time to be developed for

I completely agree. When it comes down to it the iphone is more of a toy, however I would really like to see the chat come to the blackberry. Is it just me or does the current facebook app kinda suck...
Hi - i couldnt get the app to work on the Storm but the browser version works really well. goto www ebuddy dot com on your phone and choose Facebook option. then login. within 30seconds it connects and refreshes every 30seconds showing you new chat messages or new contacts online/offline etc.
Nimbuzz works for Facebook chat, but for some reason would only pull in 400 of my contacts...not sure if that's a limit or something but I tired reinstalling a few times, etc. I don't chat on FB so I didn't spend much time trying to troubleshoot this, was just playing with all the features of Nimbuzz...which is a pretty awesome app btw...AIM, Gtalk, Yahoo, Windows Live, and a bunch of other messengers, tons of options with Skype calling, and some new Twitter options as well.
