FaceBook Also Updated the way messages are sent so now we get nothing.

So if you are not receiving messages thats why!

Messages now come though as Chats as well as messages.

The BB cannot differentiate between the two so it doesn't make it to the inbox.

This refers to the Facebook chat messages that get pushed to the messages area.

Doesn't have to do with the app. Its facebook. Haha.

Its because of FaceBook "upgrading" the way messages are sent.

Great, thanks to the @facebook.com email address and their broken API, all my chats are now logged into my messages history, and I don't get my messages and notifications on my BB...

I think we'll have another beta update soon enough to fix the way messages are handled.

i have tried to install FB 2.0.23 three times tonight and every time, after installation, it doesnt show up. I can find it and delete it up I cannot open it up and run the program. Same issue with Twitter

I was fine with the message issue...but this killed it for me. You can't even see what you're typing. Luckily, last week, I extracted the cod's from the previous beta so I was able to go back. =) Ill wait for the next update.
I hope you are all using the feedback tool on beta zone to report these issues though. That's how they get resolved so do it! =)

I noticed this too this morning, I suppose there will be an update soon enough. One thing I wish they really would consider putting into this beta is a way to block apps or at least carry over the app blocking settings from the website. Farmville is driving me nuts!
