Hi i recently purchased a Blackberry Curve 8900 from T-mobile i was overjoyed when i heard there was a facebook app on the 8900 so went & i downloaded it and installed it it would say connecting i figured that i would need mobile internet to make it work is this true or can i use WiFi?
it said "you are current on a service plan that does not support this application please contact you service provider or upgrade your current service plan" what do i need to do to make it work?

You need to get a Blackberry Data Plan for Facebook.

You need to have a blackberry data plan for sure. I called Rogers and asked if I would get charged for having Facebook app and they said all you need is a blackberry data plan and your covered.

yep you definitely need a data plan i use facebook like all day long am on it works like a charm i love the new 1.5

i like the 1.5 also, but do u need to refresh the blackberry contacts to sync them with facebook or it does it automatically.
i mean when someone changes his facebook profile picture its not changing in bb contacts unless i do a refresh
