so i downloaded the facebook application and whenever i recieve a notification on there i also get a text message with the same thing. anybody know how to fix this?.....its driving me nuts

Do you have your messages and SMS/MMS going into the same box? I have seperate boxes for them and dont get a text for Facebook messages....just a thought

check the mobile settings within facebook.com on a pc. you probably have your number in there to recieve text notifications??

^^ Yeah I think that's what it is.

You have to turn the mobile alerts off that are associated with your account on your PC. No need for them anymore now that you have the Facebook app.!
