Wow this thing is aweful! Why does my friend list keep refreshing everytime I open the app?

first off, if its that bad.....dont use it.
the only thing that refreshes when immediately opened its the current highlights/status updates. you need to scroll over to the friends icon to refresh the friends list.
also, go into options and scroll down to "prompt before refreshing friend list". check mark the box and save the setting. see if that fixes whatever your issue is.
The symbol that I have a new notification just stays on my phone it won't leave...what's up with that?

did you go in and check for a new message in the application? if theres none, do a battery pull and see if it goes away.
