I have been having problems with my facebook app on my 8330. My sister works for verizon, and she tried re-setting some things and it didn't help. Last night, I un-installed facebook, then re-installed it. Nothing changed. I have version 1.6.0.21.

Unfortunately that app has lots of issues. if you search around you will find you are not alone. It was like a freakin virus on my Verizon Curve. I ended up removing it and just going through the mobile site. yeah i know the pics and features are better on the app WHEN IT WORKS.
I wish i could help with something other than "some days it worked, some days it didn't".
I'll probably give the new version a try if it is made available.

Is your email for your facebook log in the same as the one your have on your phone to recive emails?

yes, my email is the same for everything.

The mobile site works for what I need it to do.

I never had a problem with it until I had to update it last week... now it doesn't do anything but notify me when I update my status or upload a picture.... the mobile site just drains my battery a lot faster.
